Frederick J. Sitzberger
We are approaching the tax season. This is the happiest time of the year for us. We have the pleasure of experiencing the positive consequences of proper tax planning for our clients. As previously mentioned, we believe our banker is our best friend. We try to mix taxes paid, maintaining proper capital in your company and business longevity in our tax planning. But this takes time to understand.
The funny thing is as we speak, the business owner seldom fully understands our first discussion. Every business owner is constantly bombarded with the many facets of business from technology changes, human resource needs, equipment purchases, you name it; they have it. The business owner needs the repetition of our thought process as well as time in which to think these tax-planning ideas over.
The tax-planning season for us is from September 1 through December 31. Seldom is one plan best for all.
The business owner needs time to think about the plan free from stress and be able to have it re-explained several times, if necessary, way before any decision deadlines. They need time to process our thoughts within their own mind.
We provide this by having tax planning done between September 1 and December 31, not between Christmas and December 31. Keeping everyone happy takes time.
Please feel free to call, write or email us if you desire the time to process our thoughts about your tax planning.
